Rapunzel grows up in a tower with no stairs to the ground. Her long hair is the only way her guardian climbs inside.

She sings to the forest. A traveller hears her and begins visiting, bringing news of the world beyond the window.

Rapunzel asks for strong thread. Little by little, she makes a ladder she can use herself.

When her guardian discovers the visits, Rapunzel is sent away. The traveller searches, following the familiar song.

They meet again and choose a home with a door Rapunzel can open herself. Her songs can now travel through the garden.
